Exotic destinations
In search of tropical sun
Beyond the horizon await experiences that will change the way you see the world. Whether it's a spiritual ritual in Bali, a dinner under the stars in the Moroccan desert, or a swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Maldives, exotic destinations are about stories you can't wait to tell back home.
Where do you want to go?
Escape to places where time flows by other rules. Below you will find a selection of vibrant destinations for those looking for more than just a vacation.
Bali, Indonesia
The island where the jungle meets the sea. You can choose the total tranquility among the rice fields of Ubud or go to Canggu for the surf vibe.
Phuket, Thailand
Known for its nightlife, night markets and luxury resorts and incredible local food. An island that has it all.
Krabi, Thailand
Krabi is a place where the scenery seems to have been edited. Most of the gorgeous beaches are hidden, so be prepared for boat trips.
Tulum, Mexico
More relaxed and "bohemian" than the rest of Mexico. It has small hotels hidden in the vegetation, Mayan ruins right on the beach and an unparalleled atmosphere.
Marrakech, Maroc
A heady mix of colors and smells. The best thing to do is get lost in the narrow streets of the old town and stop for a mint tea in a hidden garden.
Zanzibar, Tanzania
The place where you have the whitest sand and the most turquoise water. You can lie in the sun all day or explore the old streets of Stone Town.

Practical Guide (Tips & Tricks)
We know that an exotic vacation means more time and energy to prepare, so we want to make sure that the destination is worth all the effort. When you go to an exotic country, it's normal to have questions: "Is the water safe?", "What's the deal with the visa?", "Is the weather good in July?". We've put together some information here to keep in mind before you go.
Documents and visa
Thailand & Morocco: You can enter without a visa if you are on holiday (30 or 90 days respectively). Just make sure your passport does not expire within the next 6 months.
Bali: The visa is obtained upon arrival at the airport. Our recommendation? Get it online before departure to avoid waiting in lines after a long flight.
Safety essentials
Water: Only drink bottled water, even when brushing your teeth. In good hotels, ice is okay (it's made from purified water), so don't worry about cocktails.
Sun protection: The sun there is much stronger than ours. Use SPF 50 every day, even if it looks cloudy.
Money and payments
Card or Cash? The card (Revolut/standard) is good at the hotel and in shops. But for a drink on the street, a souvenir or a tuk-tuk ride, you will need cash.
ATMs: Try to only withdraw money from ATMs inside banks. It's safer and you get a better rate.
How do you stay connected?
Internet: The easiest way is to get a local card or an e-SIM. For about 15 Euros you have enough for the entire trip.
Transportation: Download Grab or Gojek in Asia. It's like Uber here: you know exactly how much you're paying and you don't have to negotiate with taxis on the street. Taxi in Morocco: Here it's best to agree on a price with the driver before getting in the car.
